Cold feet

Heater suit is money well spent. I've found myself going long sleeved t in early November, and just wearing the heater suit. I just add layers as January approaches. I prefer it over bulky insulated clothes, but I don't have that fancy new camo.
It's great for a January packer game too. Just have to drink your beer out of a straw.

I have one stand, it's a two person, with an added tarp/canopy. Last year with the cold temps, I hung a little Buddy heater under the bench seat using large plastic ties. I also laid heavy tin foil under the bench padding. Worked well - kept my 11 year old warm...

One of the best things i ever purchased for hunting was 2000 gram thinsulate boots from cabelas. Many times I wear nothing but a pair of standard white socks and stay warm.

same here, I have the cabelas inferno boots. work excellent on the ice or in the stand.

I've had a heater suit for years and love it. I'm going to Manitoba in November and plan on going through the trouble of hauling it there.
