Cedar Apple Rust?

Red

5 year old buck +
I was out over the weekend and looked at a few trees that I planted this spring. The Chestnut Crab looked great but the Fireside has orange-yellow spots starting to appear on the leaves. Is this the start of Cedar Apple Rust? There are tons of cedar in the area but I was under the impression that Fireside was resistant.

If it is, any advice on chemical control/treatment? Cutting cedars is not an option.
Thanks

Not to hijack Red's thread, but is the case of CAR in his picture (a) just a touch, no sweat and won't slow the tree's growth and won't hurt the fruit too bad for deer, or (b) a real bummer and a grower really should try to do something about it?

I hope it's not a bummer and just cosmetic.
