Brassica?

I am thinking of planting my Brassica earlier this year. Our forecast is dry this week with showers forecast for next week. My thought was maybe spray while it's sunny and warm this week and then within 2 weeks when there's a good rain forecasted I could broadcast seed. I would also be able to see missed spots and spot spray them before I broadcast.

Should work fine, I've missed the expected showers before and seed just lays waiting until it gets the rain then pops up.

depends on turkey and other bird populations. A decent sized turkey flock could wipe out your seed in under a week. I personally wouldn't want my seed out for more than a couple days without a good rain.

It sounds like a good plan, get the prep work gone and plant when rain is coming.
