Just started with tree tubes last year up in northern MN. Every one got ripped off by bears but I did forget to put the bird net over the top of them so maybe there were wasps or bees in them.
Not quite as many bears in my central MN spot but I am curious how bad things will get once my fruit trees start bearing. Place is less than 2 miles on the wrong side of the no-quota bear zone boundary.. I wouldn't want to attract them there with bait if I had a tag anyway and I don't want to hunt them without bait.
