Bear hunt northeast or Canada

anyone know a good guide for a bear hunt? Wife's coworker is trying to book one for her husband.

and HOW fast does she want the hunt??

I take it's a surprise? I went on a bear hunt once by myself with other people I didn't know in camp and it was an awkward feeling. I think a bear hunt is much more fun with a group of people that you know. Good intentions but, personally, I'd skip the surprise and ask the husband his opinions on what he would like to do.

It is an anniversary surprise! I will get some more info. She probably thinks the guide just puts you in a spot and the bear shows up. I can see where this surprise could go wrong.

yes I agree 100 % a surprise like this can go wrong and be a very costly deal too
All the more so why she needs to have answers to many questions before even thinking of booking, like I listed above, when what type of hunt, what type of weapon too, and the likes, and does she have a budget? bear hunts can be as all things, from 5 start deals, to as rough as you like these days
and the prices will vary a LOT, from a few hundred bucks, to many thousands for a weeks hunt

great idea, buts adly, unless her husband has talked about a specific hunt he wants to do and where and how, she can go very wrong here fast!

I don't know about you guys but I don't think I'd be very upset if my wife sent me away on any type of bear hunt :emoji_beers:. I would however be curious as to what she is doing while sending me on a trip across the country .

Found out today it will be a hunt for 2. She is sending their 12 year old with him. I told my wife to get some more info.
