Basagran + Cleth?

Curious whats the mix for?
Spread rye n clovers, Sprayed basagran + gly, then tire dragged it in. Think there was residual issues? Sedge looks pretty beat up though.
2 foodplots seem ok. One din't germinate well. It might be barely any rain and the one plot has more grass versus the others had taller goldenrod. Might be better thatched over / shaded. The plot that did bad may have been sprayed a bit denser too.

I have a fair amount of existing clover - and a lot of sedge - and some grass. Several of these food plots have been going 8 or ten years. I would like to preserve the existing clover and get rid of the rest of the vegetation - in particular, the sedge - which 24db does not affect. Will plant after spraying.

I put 24 ounces of basagran in a 15 gallon sprayer. Added about 30 ounces of 41% gly. Probably did about .75-8 acres. Bought basagran for $75 off ebay, might be a few years old.
Came back from camp, clover tops died, but alot came back with the younger smaller leaves, much like a typical gly burndown. Did this on the tail edge of decent water conditions. Think it rained 2 or 3 days after and thats about it. See what the sedge looks like next year. From what I gather, sedge is warm season and grows very little in the fall time. Often after a august gly burn, it seems to disappear or keep very small.
I doubt you'll ever win the war with sedge. Consistently winning battles will be a good victory in my book.
Watch your plot edges, may need to take a sprayer wand and push it into the brush, field entrances, and neighboring spots.
Sedge propagates by roots. Seed is very tough to propagate, although not impossible. Attacking it, attack it again, or light tillage after an attack during a dry spell helps too. They say sedge grows where drainage isn't good. Sedge does not need bacteria to thrive like other plants do. Those myo blends, improving drainage, and maybe spring barley (myo bacteria).

Mine is growing fairly well right now. Bush hogged a plot two weeks ago and sedge has probably grown a couple inches since. Was 98 degrees tosay
