My first ever Norland. It’s still in my planter, couldn’t help but leave 1 Apple on the tree after plucking some off this spring. Waited a day or two too long and one side was a bit soft.

I have this labeled as Rescue but think it is Ranetka rootstock . Thoughts?

The first one is Empire and the other two are unknown, lost tags. All of our apples are on the small side this year I'm guessing because of the lack of moisture most of the summer.

I heard that some young squirrels raided the horse apple tree last week.
Some genuine squirrels or coons raided Ozark Gold, it probably had 30 or so this year.

This has been a winner for me so far in its young life. Vigorous grower and it produced very early on in its life. It’s VERY juicy and was a good eater and I read that it is a good one to bake with. If you’re looking for an easy to grow early apple, check this one out!

Small Chunk, these ain’t apples, but I will post the picture anyway.

We have been on this farm for 31 years and these old farmstead plums have been here for many years before then. They are slightly different than wild plums. We get a crop about every third year.
