Antler growth already

N.J. or MO. ?? Good start regardless.

I'm getting some in MO, too.

Interesting. I got a couple picks of a young deer the other day that looked like a button buck. My son and I were discussing that. He's not any bigger than a first year fawn and you could clearly see the buttons. We couldn't decide if he was just a button buck from last year or was he starting to get going for this year already. I'll post a pic when I transfer them to my computer. Just a crazy antler season all the way around.

Dang..I've got one that sill has horns, had one last year clear into May.

Here is a pic of one with and one without side by side;

Bill, here's the pic of the deer I mentioned. We thought this was just a button buck from last year or maybe healed over after dropping last year's antlers.

That's new antler growth for sure. Diameter is to large to be a button. Hopefully he keeps walking by the camera as he grows.

Yep it's on. And this one comes with a Roman nose. Oct 15 to Nov 15 really just doesn't last long enough or get here soon enough.
