No burning here. I've got too much invested into my tree plantings, not to mention structures, to dick around with it.

Same here. Our camp is surrounded by miles of forest on all sides. Beside risking our own buildings, we don't need lawsuits from neighboring camps - or the state.

Those are mainly not real fears.

In our state If you follow the law on fires you are protected froM lawsuits, even if fire gets away from you.

I don't know the laws here in Pa. regarding purposed fires/liability. Our camp members don't want to mess with it, though. Fire does do much good in certain circumstances for sure.

I hear you. I’ve done several but I usually pay someone to do them. I apply for government grants to burn my land and often get them. Check with your local NRCS office and EQIP programs.
