An ATV Plot Cutter

Very nice!

Incredible craftmanship. Why did you choose solid casters over air filled casters?

Those solid ones were freebies mglenn. They worked OK, as you can see in the video. But I have since replaced them with pneumatic ones and they are indeed better.

BRILLIANT!! Works better than the swisher mower i use.

You are a fabricating beast... I'm a little jealous!

Well done.

Here's that plot in the video after the cut.

Great craftsmanship. Nice job!

That looks really nice!

Looks nice, how much $$ do you have in it. That aluminum deck couldn't have been cheap.

"That aluminum deck couldn't have been cheap."

Cheaper than you would think tooln. The motors were $119 each at Harbor Freight. Total cost was a bit less than $500.

That is a great build.

Two more pictures.

that thing is awesome, how well does it cut tall set aside type weeds/grass?

tmeyer, the tallest growth I've used it on was a mix of stuff about three feet tall, mostly yellow foxtail and dog fennel with a scattering of other miscellaneous soft stemmed broadleaf. I had to take it slow but it chewed everything up just fine.

you did a great job!
