50 hour service

I'm getting ready to do the 50 hour service on my tractor. Oil filter $12, hyd filter $40, hydrostatic filter $106, that's $158 in filters. Add in another $300 for fluids. I could have went with cheaper fluids but that' not me to use cheap stuff. Glad the 50 hour service is the BIG one. I can't keep wondering what it would cost to have the dealership do it.

Save your Hydraulic fluid and use it for Chainsaw Bar Oil. Works great!
Thanks I'll do that.

I coat my "car" trailer's deck with used oil every few years. Really preserves the wood.

I'm thinking of giving my storage unit a coat. Then save the rest to coat all the eq. for winter storage.
