24DB mix with clethodim 2ec

I think you’re supposed to spray one at a time, not mixed. But I didn’t stay at a holiday inn express last night so don’t quote me on that.

I’ve read alot that says don’t mix them. I have (as well as many others) and have had no issues.

I use a compatiblity agent anytime I mix more than one herbicide and have had good success. Can buy 2.5 gallons made by Drexel and will last a long time.

I also always use Ams (I use Ams supreme) when I use a slight acid herbicide (which is most we food plotters use). There are all kinds of lists for this.

Since I have started using AMS, compatibility agent, and correct mixing order I have noticed that the herbicide does what I want it to do almost every time.

I have mixed Clethodim and Crop Oil with 2,4-DB several times with very good success and no issues in the tank sprayer. I use this mix in my Alfalfa/Clover mix plots.

1 Pint Clethodim, 1 Qt Crop Oil and 1 Qt 2,4-DB per acre.



This was a Newley seeded plot where I used oats as a nurse crop for the alfalfa. I noted that I had a little Pigweed in with the alfalfa so I tank mix them both.

I have never planted Chufa Ncwoodsman so I can't say I know what to expect there but this combination has worked very well for me in treating both grasses and broadleaf weeds in alfalfa/clover plots.

I know clover and alfalfa are good......but.....Will that mix (24DB and Cleth) smoke a brassica crop? I assume it would.

Not good on brassicas. Cleth is fine. 24DB no.

No worries. I have prayed separately on chufa just haven't had the need to mix till now. I had already though about mixing just wasn't sure. I may still do the separat haven't decided yet. If I can find another jug of 24db I only have 1/2 a jug I thought I had more and the local co-op is out so I'm going to have to call around
