Fixed...I saw a post which said to add 2 more batteries and hold metal across it to make it a 6 D. I was able to reset it from there.

I have an external 6 D cell battery pack. It reads 9.73V on the cable. However the J camera does not recognize the external pack. I tried a 2nd camera still no luck. Cam sholdu automatically see it correct?

I have a J 4-cell battery cam. The report was stating power was low so when I added new batteries the cam now states 'dead battery'. I tried more batteries, no luck. Let it set for 5 minutes with batteries pulled. Any ideas?

Is the cable for the power booster pw-3624 available to order? I had no luck with google? Connecting to a 4-D J camera. Squirrel chewed it up and also drained all 6 batteries (all read .9V).

I have a J cam with 4 D cells...how long should the batteries last? High energy rayovacs only lasted 30 days. My K cam (6 D's) has gone over 100 days with the same type of batteries.

Has anyone seen where a daytime pic is normal and the next pic 60 secs later is an IR pic? All my cams do this. FW is 8.1

Did anyone reply to your question about the cams stopped taking pics after making online changes. It appears mine have done the same. I did tell the cams to take a pic and that worked OK. The pics were sent just fine, but no other pics since.

Question: My dual cell ran well for over 100 days on D-batteries. It recently died. With the new set of batteries the CC test fails. Tried different locations but still no luck. Any suggestions?
