Its almost done now and it will be hunt ready

Looks good.....what are you using for roofing? Look like some sort of rubber membrane? I am always looking for different options....

Yeh i was think about jacking mine up on blocks when I post it up and using tie downs. Do you use tie downs for yours?

I used rubber roofing since I dont have alot of pitch on the roof and was afraid of having leaks i just have to wrap it under the soffit this week. I did put pea gravel in mine also to help keep the center of gravity lower

I will be painting it flat black inside this week and hanging shoot through mesh and curtains also

This is my current stand project. Added these camper stabilizer jacks. They where rated for 1000lb but was $50 wasted money. As boat trailer flexes the jacks slowly retract. Going to mount trailer jacks on each end of pallet shelf to take care of trailer flexing. Trying to decide what kind of blind to use for bow hunting and thinking about Redneck soft sided.View attachment 30157View attachment 30156

Wish I would have seen this post I just put those exact same ones on my blind hopefully being much closer to the ground will help.

Thats looking good i wish I would have made mine shorter i moved mine down the road tonight for the first time since I started the build and I really have to be careful of inclines when pulling it so I don't tip it over

What I did to stabilize was cut axil and weld angle iron to widen 2 feet.

I like! Looks like you used 5 full sheets of plywood to make your walls. You will love the interier space. What are you using for roof material?

Thats a good idea expending the axles I might go that route

What size is that window and where did you get it from? I have been using 24" tall by 48" wide windows and I can't seem to find anything shorter in height. I only gun hunt from mine so I really only need about a 18" or 12" tall window but I can't find one for a reasonable price. I get my 24 x 48 from Menards for about $60 each.

Since you finish off the inside...do you insulate the walls?

Yeh i insulated with r19 and used house wrap on the outside and then used foam in any cracks. All my windows I got from menards bargain section I always check there to see what is there and I use Facebook marketplace i didnt pay over 40 bucks for each window. It took some time to get them all. And my floor is insulated to

It is 6x6 so pretty well. We are planning to use rubber roofing. I have that on my others

I also just tried out my braces they seem to work pretty well to stabilize my trailer
