Best of bucks

My first year off to college, I came back and hunted a stand I hung the weekend before, this cam was 15 yards from my tree, I checked this camera after my morning hunt on October 28th, 24 hours too late. He got shot a few weeks later by a 15 year old kid wearing skating shoes. He scored 229"

I have only been seriously hunting my property for about 4 years and before 2012 or 2013 only had one trail camera - and it worked about 20% of the time. Also, my farm was a cattle farm of fescue, so I don't have pics that go back a long way. Here are some of the better bucks I've had so far. I'm happy with these considering that I live in a marginal deer area.

This is one of the oldest pics I have, and the first deer of any size I had after getting into habitat on my place. I was watching this deer when the camera took his picture.



This is the prettiest 2 year old I ever had. He apparently got shot somewhere that fall.



Next two pics are the deer I harvested in 2013. I have 4 years of history and passed him before this year. He was 5.





This is the 5 year old I harvested last year. A beast but not that great of headgear.



Next two pics are a deer I passed and he got poached two farms away. They caught the guy. I loved this deer.





This deer was 4 and not a bad deer. I passed him and got a pic of him leaving the next morning. Never saw him again.



This deer was only 3. He survived late ML season so probably got poached somewhere.



The rest of these are just a few other random deer I've had on the place.

Thanks, yea I liked that deer. I always suspected that he might have got shot out of season, but never knew for sure. He was extremely visible in daylight on my place in late summer - too much for comfort. He could have done that on the adjoining farm and got in trouble. He just suddenly disappeared before season started that year.

Grabbed a few quick. Top right I shot after passing the top left when he broke his beam (killed by the neighbor the following year), second one is still alive, the third one died from infection and I'm still getting over it. Scores go as when the picture was taken 180", 143", 175", 202".
