Where does everyone get their wildflower seed?I have around 1.5 acres and I had good luck the first year but not much came back up.It was pretty expensive thought I would check around for a sandy soil mix

Check Roundstone Native Seeds.

Round stone. Call them and they will mix something for your area, and your herbicide use. They are expensive, but great stuff.

Also they have a lot of stuff that they don’t advertise. If you find something online call or email them and they will probably have it. I have been using Tusca and Espresso switch varieties from them they don’t advertise.

Wanted to do something like this in past but the interest rate on the see was high

I haven't done it yet, but there's also Ernst Seed in PA. Also, very expensive.
They have alot of mixes already to go.

I've had really good luck with Pheasants forever seed blends. The prices are usually lower than from a nursery/seed distributor. Their mixes are quite diverse and they have a lot of regional specific mixes as well. They also sell different mixes based on soil type.

Your dept of natural resources may provide help.

you mentined forbes. There are outifts that seed crabgrass and plantain. I need a bit to start about a 1/4 acre population. Just grabbed them from my house and frost seeded.

Not many cheap places for that for sure. Looking to buy some luipine and try it in one spot. Hear the deer like it in canada.

I used American meadows and they did good, just didn't have alot come up the next year

I’ve used Ernst Seed in the past with no complaint. It’s in the neighborhood so I don’t have to worry about shipping.
