Check the weather forecast and if there are good chances of rain coming, it wouldn't hurt to mow it now and then again at the end of August. That will give the clover some good fresh growth for the mid September opener.
I wouldn't mow it until middle of August. That should allow it to attract and rebound before the start of bow season. Eliminate some weeds if that's what your looking for. I actually mow my clover once a year in June. After that the deer eventually will eat it down to the ground in the fall. Flowers and all.
