What kind of crab is this?

There are two of these growing near my job site, there is still alot on the tree and a good many on the ground, it looks like it would be a good archery season tree, i may have to get a few cuttings this winter.

Is the tree grafted?

The reason I ask if it was grafted is because if it is not, it is a unique tree. Some crabs like Dolgo are more true to seed than other apples, but anytime a tree is not grafted, it is genetically unique, not a named variety.

You know, i never even gave it a thought to check if it was grafted, the tree is in Greensburg pa, I did taste the fruit, and it is sour, but sweeter than most of the wild pears here that the deer seem to love.
