Any Idea what this is? Has me stumped, and round up has not been effective on it he
Says. Was found in a customer field located in Anoka Mn on sandy ground.

Mo, it's hard to say with the leaves shriveled up like they are in that picture, but it makes me think of Curly Dock. Root are very similar. MN would be included in the range of Curly Dock. Just a guess, but might give you a starting point.

Curly dock has been known to be gly resistant in some areas and the root has very similar characteristics to those in the picture.

If it is Curly Dock, It would be a first in my 35 years, but nothing would surprise me.

Smooth Dock is more what it looks like a couple other guys have said. That may be it?
