I did manage to get a credit for the ones that died in under a year, but the processes was a huge hassle, and of course they didn't have the trees I wanted at the price I had paid. I almost regret getting the credit because now I have to order something from them and pay shipping.
I was hoping to place a big order with Blue Hill this year, but the price increase made me wait. I'll make a big order for next Spring at one or two of the more reliable nurseries. Which ones have you had the best success with?
Cummins out of NY is very good, just need to order way in advance.
One Green World out of Oregon is very good, they have a lot of unique apple&pear varieties.
Blue Hill is great, lots of wildlife stuff.
Whitetail Crabs out of PA has great trees.
I’ve bought a couple dozen at least from each of those venders over the years multiple times and never had any problems.
For “other” trees&shrubs my go to is ColdStream Farm out of MI.
