UTV Sprayer

Can anyone recommend a sprayer for me? I see a lot online but not a lot of honest reviews.

I’m interested in what brand people like, what features are preferred (boom/boomless) and what tank size would cover spraying herbicide on ~2 acres. Also, how do they mount to a UTV?

Thanks!

I have a FIMCO 25 gal sprayer, it's about 15 years old and its held up good for me. The only down side I've noticed is the "L" bracket the holds the boom is a little weak and it sags down after awhile of using it but other than that it's been a good sprayer.

I have a B&B Technologies, 25 gal ATV sprayer which covers a 10' wide area. It also has a hand-held hose which I have used many times for spraying my fruit trees and even my pond with algaecide. It really pumps it out there.

I have had it for at least 10 years...maybe even 15?? I can't even remember where I bought it. Other than changing the nozzles once or twice it has performed flawlessly and it gets a lot of use. I did lose a part on the hand-held hose a few years ago. I Googled B&B and found a phone number. Called them and they sent the replacement part out right away.

I have been very satisfied with it and would definitely buy the same one again.

I use 2 ratchet straps to strap it to the back rack on my ATV. The "L-Bracket" that holds the boom goes under the tank and I just use 2 pieces of wire to secure it to the rack.

I am currently looking for a 100-150 gal 3 Pt sprayer for my tractor but I will keep this one anyway just for spraying my fruit trees as they are scattered all over the property.

Thanks guys.

It seems like people say ~10 gal per acre? I’m thinking the Fimco 25 gallon boom sprayer (the 7 nozzle one) will do what I need.

That works in my sprayer. Of course it will vary with your speed over ground.
