Upgrading a Maverick XL Blind

Pulling this one back from the graveyard. Any updates on this blind project? Are you happy with the result?

Yes. My son and granddaughter are in the blind now. Likes: very roomy. Can sleep in it. Quiet. Easy to use windows. Additions make it very usable for long sits. Heats up nicely in January. I also use the 12v adapter to run a small ozone generator.

I still need to install the extra door handles/closers to give the blind a better door seal. The solar fan is too small to really move air.

What made you go with this one instead of the RAM 650 or 700?

I had two Booner Blinds by the same company, so I was familiar with their customer service, which has been good. I was looking for an affordable blind that could boast upscale features, which this did. Finally, I liked the fact I could pick it up locally (40 miles away at Menards). The specs are very similar to the Ram 700.

So far this is my favorite blind--roomy, quiet and comfortable.

What are the windows made out of and do they open to the side and do you happen to know what the RAM windows were

I read back through and answered most of my questions, thanks,Menards has the RAM also,I would like to see how it compares
