Unknown Pear Variety

Native Hunter

5 year old buck +
I'm not sure what this pear is but like the looks of it. It may have come back from a rootstock, but I have lost track of it. It's where I planted some Kieffers, but I'm certain it's not a Kieffer, The Kieffers nearby are not nearly as big and shaped differently.

It could be a Bartlett, but was extremely clean with no FB to be one of those.

That's a pretty pear. :)

That's a pretty pear. :)

It's the biggest and prettiest at the farm. Moonglow gets to be a big pear, but at this point of the growing season, it is much bigger than Moonglow. That leads me to believe that it will be an early pear and is far along in development. It's at a good place to watch, so I will keep and eye on it.

Iv had some of the biggest pears I have ever seen come from a Moonglow. I think that's what it is, but that has real early development
I think it's just one of them things that can be a bit of variation that just happens sometimes on a particular tree.
