Trump 2025

I really hope they can reduce the deficit. I doubt it though. Atleast we won't be forgiving college debt for people who clearly shouldn't of went to college in the first place. The higher education system got bloated on government subsidies to begin with. Just like what happened with the house cruising in 2008. I just love the mainstream media attempted to destroy Trump yet he survived the constant witch hunt.

I think there is a side benefit to his selection. If confirmed, he will be taken out of the House where he has been too disruptive by pushing unrealistic demands.

I was surprised by Pete Hegseth as Sec. of Defense. I get it...highly intelligent, super motivated, patriotic, combat veteran, etc. Also a highly likable and charming guy. Just wonder if he's got the right experiences on the international stage to run the Pentagon and the world's greatest military.

Yeah....I have those same concerns......but one thing in his favor.....He is from Minnesota. grin.

Austin was highly decorated and experienced but, he went woke with all the others, under the Commander in Chief. New guy in town so I would give the guy a chance.

And he already resigned. So Desantis gets to pick his replacement (hopefully less extreme) and he might not get confirmed? Seems a bit abrupt. But maybe a positive development for the future of the GOP.

Understood. As somebody who went to basic and infantry school at Ft. Benning I get the woke BS of renaming all of our venerable forts and bases and all of the other woke crap diluting our military. I think Benning is now called Ft. Moore. I'm certainly backing Hegseth. But his youth and inexperience on the global stage gives me pause that's all.

I do too, but once he takes office, he will get the best of the Secret Service rather than the cast-off DEI hires that he was stuck with as a candidate.
