Trailcam pics

Hey Rocks -

What variety of spruce are those in this pic? (If you know) They look great for shape & density. Just wondering.
Those are all white spruce. Have some Norway spruce on the end of another planting but much younger. The whites tend to have less browse on the central leader when really young compared to Norway spruce. Yes they moderately browse spruce in my area. Why?? Cause they can! Really only a very early spring problem right after snow melts and only green stuff for a couple weeks. Not enough to normally kill anything but creates double/multiple leaders on them

But more "Why no deer", I didn't get any pictures of the deer that made the tracks in the right lower corner. Snow shows me just how much I'm missing.

The more I have trail cameras, the more I realize just how much they are not actually catching. Just making a general statement, not voting for any one particular company over another. Lets be honest, I doubt in this technological day and age that trail camera companies have any exclusive sensor or camera that isn't available to the entire world.

Turkeys dont usually hit the feeders much here - but that four inches of ice and sleet really brought them in. A day after it melted, they were gone. Have had one lone gobbler at a feeder since, and dont think he was feeding since just one pic

I was once trying to figure out exactly where most of the bucks were coming into a food plot - different where the does came in. I put four cameras - one each on each quarter of a two acre food plot. It was pretty eye opening the difference in pics. One mature buck was only in 1/4 quarter of the food plot - everyday - over a three week period.
