Trailcam pics

Nice vids and bucks! Fun to see bachelor groups like that.

According to my cameras, there are only two bucks in the world and they do not like each other.

Are his pedicels touching? Do you think he is just a 2 yr old?

I think it has nuts, and I don't think the pedicles are touching. I have better pics but can't load them right now. He spends time with another small buck and two doe fawns. I think he's on his first set of antlers beyond buttons, but that's just a guess.

Some pics of him and his friends. I don't really try to age deer, but I'd guess he's the same age as the baldy and the spike. They're always together.

They started showing up 2 minutes after I mowed and have been a nonstop train since.

This one would be the stuff dreams ar made of in two years but the chances of him making it hover are slim and none

Any knowledge of that guy? He's a nice 1. Hopefully he hunkers down inside your farm for the duration.

This deer came in with a young bachelor group. They've been hitting clover hard for a couple weeks. Can't age him well yet but seems young til I see more.

Dang yours is real nice!

No I’m sure he was probably a run of the mill 2 year old last year. Looks to be starting to throw some junk that could really add up in a couple years. Got another one a couple weeks ago that was doing the same. Cool to have but a bit depressing knowing they will likely never make it to maturity
No clue why it’s rotated. It’s not in my album

This surprised me about a half hour ago. I get pictures of one ever few years and have never seen one in the woods. Wish the pics and video was better. He looks well, the last one I saw was skinny as a rail.
(I did hear one huff and run off only a few yards away from me in heavy brush once, but honestly I didn't realize it was a bear at the time. My brain said pig (which made even less sense than bear, but that's what I thought it was.) Not long after we had some unmistakable bear damage to the cabin and I realized "oh, that was no pig!")

I am in a similar situation, set a camera in a certain spot and found a bear and cat highway a five minute walk from camp. I was wandering around in the middle of the night last weekend playing with my new thermal and had something huffing at me from a stand of oaks. I could see some heat through the trees, but could not make out what it was. I approached it and made some noise, but nothing flushed and stomped off. Even though I had a rifle, I got a little nervous and left it be.
