Trail Cams?

I don't know about Dick's but, Field and Stream here is offering that deal also on trade in's. They are taking $30 off the camera for a trade in and they are also on sale for $30 off so, you can trade in an old camera (any condition) for a new Bushnell $60 off.

Just picked this lil one up for $80 at our local farm store. Its moultrie new budget micro cam. It's 12mp, 1 sec trigger an 8+ month battery life. Only thing lacking per the specs is flash range which is only 50ft.

Set it up for some testing. It's quiet. No click when it takes pic. I walked past it at a steady pace at 5 yards and it tripped every time. I was usually just entering the frame indicating good trigger speed. I know it's no reconyx but can't hardly justify that $$$ with so many budget cams out their.

Let us know how it goes. Frankly, after 2014, I'm pretty well through with Moultrie, unless something real convincing comes along. Hopefully yours won't fill up a card full of nothing like mine do. My avatar was taken with a 2013 Moultrie 990, black flash. It was a great camera, bought a bunch of 2014s thinking they were the same. No similarities, whatsoever.

That's exactly what the Moultrie's I've tried have done also.

I've been buying the Browning Strike Force for the last 2 years. I buy them in bunches from Sportsman's Guide and use the free 4 Easy Pay plan. Takes the sting out of dropping a pile of cash all at once on cameras.

That's my cam of choice now, too.

I have had good luck with the Covert MPE6.
