I know not really the place to post this, but it fit in with my day. Not sure if any of you listen to "The Prairie Farm" podcast out of Iowa. Put on by Hoxey native seed. They can be all over the place with topics. The one I was listening to today had to do with suicide rate amongst farmers. It was a very good podcast. They had a lady therapist/ physchatrist, something or other on. Seemed very intelligent and well spoken. She had some spot on points about our society and how studies have proven that 70% of the adolescents on mind altering drugs can be removed from those drugs if they are prevented from being able to access anything with a screen. Another 30% of those remaining 30% can be removed from drugs if they are placed on a whole foods diet. She had me listening to what she was saying when one of her first comments was when you have time to debate what a male or female is. You live in a society that has no real problems. We live in such a soft, mentally weak society because we face no real challenges (compared to what our parents and grandparents had to face). On a day to day basis we have it so easy that the slightest bit of struggle sends us over the edge. She wasn't belittling the seriousness of suicide, just explaining why it seems so rampant amongst people.
