Time to lighten up - Laughter is good medicine Part II

I used to demo those mid-70's Chryslers, and their trunks aren't even the good part. Always drove those cars forwards instead of backwards.
Agreed. Imperials are also awesome derby cars. Cash for clunkers really screwed up the derby car inventory. I know guys spending 3k for a derby car. I don't know if you can even make money if you win the derby with the price of those cars now.

Never got to run an Imperial as they were outlawed at all the local races. Loved me some Newports and New Yorkers though. Cash for clunkers was one of the most stupid things I'd ever seen. Then the price of steel went sky high and demo cars got hard to find. I sold four 74 Impala's (with front bumpers) for a pretty penny a few yrs ago. With I had 10 more of them!

I honestly would love to have a Imperial driver, or an old suicide door Lincoln.

I keep telling my kids to buy cars/trucks anything they can get cheap that may have collection value latter down the road and park them in the barns we have. I had three jeep J-10 pickups when I was a kid that I’d kill to have now and a couple dodge trucks I’d love to have back.
