He's known as one of the best survivalists in the world. Chronicles (or used to) all his stuff on youtube.

Best survivalist is a stretch at best. He's a rich guy with every toy known to man with the resources to do things and live the.way most of us dream of. Fun to watch, seems like a decent guy that's about it.

I don't think he was all that rich when he started out. Didn't seem to have many toys. Liked making things and tinkering. My kids have been watching his videos from the start. They still wear their Catfish and Carp shirts from the early days. We actually kinda stopped watching when he moved back to Alaska and pretty much began making only cold weather, snow survival vids. We still watch his old fishing and camping videos.

He had some good content for sure. I wasn't all that into the latest stuff either, seemed like the same stuff different day. A few videos where he caught fish through several feet of ice were pretty interesting though.

Watch the back ground videos on you tube, he was a high powered lawyer and political strategist before he decided to do this. Not saying he doesn't do good stuff. I enjoy his videos , the same as I enjoy watching all the homesteader videos with people "roughing" it with every piece of machinery known to man

You're probably right. I just thought he was a self employed traffic attorney. Never knew about political strategist. He was camping and lawyering at the same time, then realized he was making more money camping.

Yeah,.theres a whole YouTube series on his background. He did start as.a.traffic attorney of sorts I think and worked his way up. Funny how much money people make on you tube.
