Oddly enough with all the moisture we have had this Summer I do not believe I have seen a single mosquito here. We have tons of Swallows (the bird) and lots of dragonflies, maybe they are keeping things in check. When I was up at our farm in Nebraska last week they have had far less rain this Summer and there was plenty of mosquitos.

At my home place I have purple Martin houses and a large population of dragon flies buzzing around all the time and very rarely see a mosquito at the house it’s great. My mother in-laws place has more purple martins but lacks the dragon flies and she has more mosquitos it has always seemed to be the case I don’t know why the dragonflies like my place so much, kind of wish I did so I could promote it at other properties.
