Thoughts on what to do with grey dogwood?

I have something similar to that in my woods, im not quite sure what it is though. I also have lots of grey dogwood but it tops out about 4' tall.

What different leaves are on the ground near the base of the tree/shrub???? I have some grey dogwood and it gets 8 feet tall or so, and produces a white summertime "fruit" if you will. Grows in clusters like you show and loves the sunlight. I'm not saying what you have is or is not dogwood....but the best two ways for me to tell are based on the summer time fruit and the leaves and their arrangement. I would certainly want to know what it is before I start messing with it.

Impossible to tell what it is from the pics, but if it's at least 15' tall for sure it isn't grey dogwood
