The VA

I'm always quick to thank a Vet. Very grateful for what they do and done!

The wife's dad served in Vietnam. Lots of life long issues due to it, but worked hard every day of his life despite the ailments. About a yr ago dementia forced him into the VA permanently.

I can't say enough great things about how the VA treats these people. They're unsung hero's! Last night they loaded 50+ Vets up and hauled them to the county fair to watch The Oak Ridge Boys. A huge undertaking done out of the love in their hearts. Simply amazing! Hats off to everyone who takes care of our servicemen when they need someone the most!

Well said!
I have always received excellent care from the VA. I'm concerned about staffing and budget cuts to an already overburdened system.

Cat do they have honor flights in your area? I've donated money to their cause and I've seen nothing but grateful vets that come back from the flight.

My wife escorted her dad on an Honor Flight. It was an amazing experience for them! I was at the airport when they returned. Like you said... nothing but pride when those guys walk out. Most of the Vietnam guys didn't get that when they returned the first time. Standing ovation this time. Good on you for donating!
