Been eyeing SCHD's ugly but reliable sister VDC...... Won't brag about it the next day, but smooth returns.

The press was all gnashing teeth last night, STZ had a bad report. Then this first trading session after. My last option out there is a $165 call that expires tomorrow. It's a special day when it closes just below the strike price.



If it expires worthless, I may buy it back right before market close for pennies and sell another call 2 weeks farther out and $5 higher for around $1.50 or $1.60, of if I'm gonna just lose it, sell a put to try to get it back at the same price I lost it. That would pay better in the short run, but it could take off on me too. That happens.



I'm getting blown way out of UNH. After all my goofing around raking in cash on options cost me a big run up.



Earnings season is around the corner, so if they don't go up any more, I can sell a put right where I lost it at $290 after earnings, and get paid pretty good for it. If I don't get it back, that'll be my last volley on it.

UHN did good by me last week. Had 3 appointments and only costed me $35....... So, I bought some shares.

I thought I lost a few bucks selling palanitir.

Sold archrock, made whole dollar..... Cowarded it in CEF, VXUS, and mr buffet's OMAH.

Anybody putting any faith / chips in on US rare eath elements. Some reason quantum feels good to me, IBM IONQ.

Palantir at this price seems a steal. I got stuck with a block at $145 today after they crapped out on Wednesday. I lost UNH today. I think there’s an opening to leap from put to put thru earnings.

SBUX reports 4/20. UNH reports 4/21. Could ride thru that one and then jump to a V put going into their earnings 4/28. Then PLTR on 5/4 and end on HD on 5/19. I made it thru three jumps like that last quarter. I’d like to try to make all 5 near the prices they’re at now. It’d be neat to make 10-15% in 5 weeks and come out the other side owning none of it. 5% in 5 weeks would be a home run.

There's not much use for THAAD against drones. I'd be watching whatever companies can give us drone swarm systems. I'm watching news to see which drone producers partner with Palantir.

Despite all the intel, we should use the boats as bait. They got missiles n drones under every bush....

The US really needs a good mine strategy. Thought for years they're not keeping their eye on the ball. Especially if aerial survey is too dangerous. Be a great drone idea, sure they got it in the works.

I made a bet on Etherium after the first of the year. It was not my normal investing strategy which depends on companies and products that I believe in so I cannot recommend it. In fact it is not investing strategy at all, it is gambling. Which is stupid 9 out of 10 times.

This idea came from Henrik Zeberg’s Substack. Again, can’t recommend it but it was parked money and I can afford to lose all or part of it. I can also afford to wait it out if necessary.

I still can't understand why they didn't take control of the strait from the very beginning. Why let Iran blockade it in the first place?
