Stock Market is the bottom in?

Anyone have NAK with the tanking going on there and the fight for AK?

How can you move an hsa to fidelity?
If you have a workplace HSA, you can open a second HSA at Fidelity and then do a bank to bank direct transfer to Fidelity and avoid taxation or withdrawal penalties. Be careful not to completely drain your work HSA. I accidentally caused mine to close a few years ago doing this.

Is it too late to get in with defense contractors?

Anytime is a good time to invest in things war related. Seems the USA is always looking to tell everyone else what to do and war is very profitable. Government will throw our tax dollars right down the toilet without thinking twice about it. We just get to pay more in taxes for the never ending wasteful government. Then remember too that we will give away billions to other countries and their wars. Funding both sides at times.

Done with CVX? The gain survived dividend day so far.

Still putting coins in CEF?

Thinking of pulling the plug on Netflix... Not sure if it'll rebound anytime soon.

Match6 at 2.1 million tonight! I don't play too often. I'll grab a ticket when I'm at the grocery store. Which I guess is fairly often with one teenager and one almost teenager.
Yup, just bought a ticket!

I have some and bought more on the drop. Dropped due to some contract issues where they are now having issues when they just had a green light but got the old rug pull and now have to fight for rights to be there again? It's cheap enough to throw some money at it just in case it goes back up which I think it will but might take a while for it to climb again. Hard to say what's really going on with it. Hard to get facts in this fantastic time we're living in.

The Shock: Northern Dynasty's CEO Ron Thiessen expressed shock that the administration is still defending the veto despite its pro-mining rhetoric.

“We find it surprising that despite the Executive Orders and the many statements made by the administration related to Alaskan development, pro-energy, pro-critical metals, pro-defense and military support, removing roadblocks to permitting, on the need for copper, etc., this EPA would choose to defend the unlawful Obama-Biden veto,” Thiessen said.

I'm having a hard time believing that SOFI is still under $20. Makes no sense. They beat everything with the last earnings. WTF?

Yuck 64 a barrel. Put a Tune in my cart last month, now its locked on 91+ octane....

What was the CVX call at? I just bought a few shares 2 or 3 weeks ago. Up $15 a share so far and dividend is 1.78 for march.

Looks tempting to buy more. Maybe wait arond for another dividend and sell. MY rule was to buy, then sell when 15% up. Use cash for a bit, then put a little fatter pot into etf and let the pro's grow it in their pond. calls n puts gonna leave me broke n confused for now. Try those out this winter maybe.

Any speculation what countries might benefit or be burdened by this conflict? China get tough with us economically?

Aircraft and sand........ gonna be alot of powerplant swap outs. RTX GE Aerospace......

I had Feb 27 $190’s. If it pops off over the weekend, CVX could open up $25/share on Monday and it’s long gone just as the big one starts.

I don’t know what’s going to happen, but Boeing just got a no-bid contract to kick out bunker busters like mad. I keep staring at LMT and watch it ascend like something big is around the corner.

I’m surprised PLTR is down where it is. They’ve got all the technology that’s been getting road tested in Gaza and Ukraine. I’d bet my hat they’re gonna run a bunch of the ops in Iran and Cuba.

Think palantir is going to have a big involvement in keeping US safe here. NSA stuff. My guess at least. Just can't bite on that P/E. Need a touch of mathmatical logic to bite....... Probably will go up n up. You don't hit the ball if you don't see the shot.....

Fourth quarter gdp was 1.4% making 2025 an abysmal 2.2%. Draw your own inferences on why but this isn’t good. Here’s to hoping 2026 is better

And we're doing it in spades right now.

On markets ......
Been watching graphs of most sectors of the U.S. economy. I'm reading / researching financial & investment reports every day, as I have for years. Most sector lines plotted on X & Y axis graphs, have flattened since early 2026. Large caps, mid & small caps, real estate, consumer staples & discretionary, (tech has even gone down), have all flattened. The typical gradual upward trends in these sectors that begin most years after their December payouts of capital gains & dividends, have not happened. There are ups & downs daily - but the trends have flattened. There isn't a gradual upward slope/trend this year. The overall direction is flat. These graphs are out there from large financial institutions & rating services. The steep climbs from the "Magnificent 7" dragging the rest of the market with them have ended. Many financial & economic experts advise that "reaping the benefits from AI" on large scales in various companies hasn't happened yet. When AI gears up in many industries, it will be at the cost of millions of human jobs. CEO's of many companies openly, publicly say the goal is to "reduce headcounts." Sound good for job futures??? Things gonna get fat & sassy?? The "job creators" have - in reality - become the job eliminators. Better for their bottom lines. Buckle up.

Tossed a bit on palatir today. Just a few shares.

Fatbkid on the cady store is now not liking the kslebin whole foods......

Hate to body on gloom n doom.

Betting on literal bottle rockets. RTX and ge aerospace for me likely. Used to drive past where they made tomahawk missiles in pittsfield Massachusetts.

Put some money on Xiacy . They might build electric cars for ford. Cheap 30k electric truck. Supposedly the Ford ceo has been driving one of their electric cars.

Keep eyeing borr drilling.

CEF is going back up. Gonna keep putting the leftover money in there for awhile.
