Stock Market is the bottom in?

I know because of family, friends, and my line of work...20 something's (now a lot of them are hitting 30!) are looking for "THE" job. By that, I mean one that provides them a 25-30 hour work week, satisfaction in all areas of life, downtime, 6 figures, and 4-6 weeks vacation. If you think I'm joking or being sarcastic, spend some time with different ones in this demographic. It is extremely widespread and very normal. Life is very difficult for them right now because they truly are ignorant and don't understand. The "netflix" generation: what I want, when and how I want, but unable to commit due to so many choices. Many are also looking to "hit it big" overnight.
That is exactly right! You just left out the part about total lack of common sense and no desire to do anything other than play those god damn games 24/7.

China is limiting how much time kids can play games. They are not stupid. They can see what will happen if someone doesn't think for the younger crowd.

Guys you just described every generation from the point of view of the previous generation nothing really new here except your perception. My god how do you rationalize the 60’s and 70’s just a bunch of really hard working hippies? That’s an oxymoron if I ever seen one.

So your saying my great grandfather worked 120 hours a week?

Omg lighten up guys I am making no personal attack’s anyone grandfather simply making the point that as we age the younger generation seem like lazy layabout do nothings. There are days when clubbing my younger coworkers like baby seals crosses my mind.

You would club a baby seal?!

A neat quick speech from Peter Theil at the bitcoin conference. I'm not a crypto guy yet, but I'm rooting for them. We're gonna have to figure out how to rid ourselves of the bankers if we're gonna survive the 21st century.

Bankers will be replaced by “Bitcoin Barons” government’s will regulate them into the same box and you and I will never see any difference in the long run. Government’s have to maintain the allusion of freedom but they are vehemently against actual freedom because they loose their precious control. Darn it my tinfoil hat came loose again I’ll pull it down tighter.

Heck Yeah if the fur price was good!
Bill must be old enough to remember the big hoopla about Eskimo’s clubbing baby seals for their pelts back in the day. My grandfather brought back a pair of baby seal moccasins and gloves from when he worked up there in the 70’s

What's interesting though, is they are talking about how stablecoin is the next investment...and how if government regulates "crypto", then it will all work out in the end. Isn't this the exact opposite of what the intent of crypto? My basic understanding about crypto is that it is software and not necessary money....But, what is the end game / goal for crypto?

The end game is the government being able to track every last penny and remove the ability for us to have any unreported income. Then a couple of smart kids with bad intentions can hack everyones' accounts and ruin the world. Just speculation but could see it happening. Our government needs to go. BOTH parties are shit and doing nothing for the people that supposedly elected them.jmo

I don't really know. I will say, the day they figure out how to stabilize it's value and get a means of exchange in place, I'm all in. Until we can buy gas, groceries, land, poker chips, and stripper tips with it, I'm not going to be converting anything. I've about had my fill of bank holidays, transaction cutoffs, fees, oversight, and delays. It shouldn't take 3 weeks to move money from one source to another. It'd also be nice to not have to worry about converting your currency to something else immediately to protect it's purchasing power.

Picked up another 450 DWAC a few minutes ago. Love it when manipulation drives prices down temporarily.

I don’t buy individual stocks but that one has taken a beating.

I'm about 80% cash as of Friday. I don't wanna be looking up with my mouth open when the fed gets to raising rates and dumping bonds at the same time. A third of what I'm still invested in is TBT.

I could be 100% wrong, but I also don't see an outbreak of prosperity or stimulus happening in the next 90 days.

What do you mean by this?

Kerrisdale capital publicly announced they are short on DWAC betting against them and driving the stock price down. Happens a lot. Hedge fund manipulation putting out bogus bad news about the business they are butting heads with. They are also currently doing the same thing to CEI and have been keeping share price below where they need it to make money.
