Stock Market is the bottom in?

APLD did the chipotle splatter today. A new short term low. I could be set to get 200 shares at $7 on the first puts I sold. That’s ok. Now If I wanted more, I’d go out another two weeks and now sell the $5.50 puts.

I believe this is retaliatory against Trump. They want to blame the Tariffs, but that comes with little to no evidence at this point. This is all speculation, and should their speculations be correct, it would affect 2nd quarter earnings and warrant a 2nd quarter correction. Again, I'm a dummy so nothing I say is worth more than a penny.

That doesn't make much sense to me either. It's not exactly a physical product that has to be shipped here or pass through customs. Strange times for sure. Panic and TDS are driving this situation much harder than what should be happening. Still have 1/2 of the country that would rather spiral down the tubes than give Trump any credit for doing what needs to be done in my opinion.

I’m taking it in the shorts on a number of positions too. Every time I touch LMT I manage to lose money. It going up now is losing me money.

I did sell those 2 puts on APLD this morning. 3/21 expiration $5.50 strike. Paid 26 cents/share. That’s about 5% income for two weeks, and if I get the shares, I get them at a 19% discount to current price.

Have you priced 500 lb feeders , going to run about $2,000 ea ,, we raise a bunch here prices on cattle are the highest in history been that way for over a year now ,, cheaper corn will just push feeder prices higher supply demand ya know

The only way for you to gain on that deal is to buy cheap corn from someone else but the guys growing the cheap corn won't be doing so hot. If you have to grow the corn then yeah, it doesn't work in your favor. After everyone tries to switch to crops with a better payday than corn the corn prices will spike back up due to supply and demand issues and a corn shortage. Not telling you anything you don't already know wooduck, just thinking out loud.
