Squirrels planted my dunstans

A good 3 year old buck
Funny how things work out. I ordered a good bit of dunstan seed this year. I planted 100 or so in 1 gallon root makers, 3 gallon old fruit tree pots, and 3 18 cell root maker trays. I had a lot so I luckily saved a good bit too. Well they were doing great until the squirrel found them and cleaned me out in 2 days. I replanted, covered, and now they are growing great, but so are the ones the squirrels hid. I must have 20 or 30. I'm gonna try and dig them up and replant them once they go dormant. Have any of you seen this before. I assume if they are dormant and I make a quick transfer they should be fine. Thoughts?
