Spreader?

swisher ones are pretty good. I'd spread fertilizer if I had one. Handle years of salt on pickup trucks plows.

Those are both substantially beefier than the pull-behinds I tore up. Would probably hold up reasonably well.
I've been looking for one of these used for a reasonable price for years. I haven't found one.

Debating on buying a gandy 5ft drop for liming. Waiting for a price of a load on lime before I hit on it. They want $100 for it. liberty NY. Can bother the trout over there while Im there.

Wet or dry lime?

$100 is a no brainier. Even if you don't use it, you should be able to get $500 for it.

Cat. I have a Herd GT77 and love it. It’s simple and built like a tank. Made by Kasco, the same guys that make drills.

Still waiting for an answer on the lime. Bags a 214 a ton......

I should scoop that up. Hopefully its not under a ton of snow,

I'm betting you own a shovel 😉

I also have the Herd. Very well made and it does a great job spreading anything I put in it. It will outlast any of the plastic spreaders.

I picked up a FIMCO motor speed controller and mounted mine on the front of my Polaris. I have probably saved enough money in wasted seed to pay for the speed controller.
