I am in Zone 5 and still have Arkansas Blacks and Gold Rush hanging tight. I need to replace three trees in my hunting plots next year. What other ones hang a long time? I ask as I start to review this thread.
I was in a stand right to the right of this Galarina when this doe came in. I also have Honeycrisp, Honey Gold, Gala, Fuji, Ida Red, enterprise Dolgo and Liberty hanging.

Okay, I am not biting Maya. This has to be trick photography :). No cage, no rub marks on the tree from bucks, and apples hanging. My deer have learned to climb on each other's backs to get apples. They would destroy that tree in one night.

No tricks, just typical Vermont. We don't have many mature bucks, low deer numbers and tons of wild apples. You can't drive 100 yards down my road without seeing a wild apple. Most years apples rot on the ground around here, but there are a few they really want. Galarina is certainly one of them.
