Seed Sources

I’ve used Welter and Deer Creek Seed a bunch. Welters prices are better but I live about a mile from DCS so can just pick up their stuff.

There’s a guy at Agassiz seed and supply that has a little food plot seed spin-off that I use for clover, winter peas, brassica, oats, and occasionally others. Beans and rye seed from the co-op is usually tough to beat on price though. Northwoods whitetail for plot screen sorghum varieties.

I’ll check them out… thank you!

I live fairly close to Millborn seed in SD. They are fantastic. I’m small potatoes but they treat me like I’m big time. I can’t say enough good things about them.

You have always been big time Kooch.

We have a farmer locally that grows and sells rye—$12 bushel this year, I believe.

Most everything else the past few years, I’ve gotten from Green Cover (no shipping costs as I’m close enough) and Vitalize Seed.

I buy mine from Elk Mound Seed in central Wis. I'm only about 45 min from there but they do ship seeds as well. They have a great selection of food plot seed, ir Clovers, Brassicas, etc. I have a local farmer who grows their own grain and distill vodka. Going to check with him to see if I can buy some rye from him next year.
