I've shot dozens of feral cats. The area near my parents' house seems to be a dumping ground for them. This year I shot 4, and I found another one on the road that was hit by a car. Most of them are gnarly old beasts by the time they get shot, often with matted dreadlocks in their fur. There was a little one that was just too cute to shoot, so it's living under my parents' deck , and we fed it all winter and put blankets out for it to lay on. Not sure what to do with it. It's not tame at all, but no one can bring themselves to kill it or deliver it to a shelter that would kill it.
They are definitely wildlife terrorists. I've read several times that they kill billions of small animals every year.
