Random ramblings

Every cat that crosses my line gets to chase mice in heaven

I've shot dozens of feral cats. The area near my parents' house seems to be a dumping ground for them. This year I shot 4, and I found another one on the road that was hit by a car. Most of them are gnarly old beasts by the time they get shot, often with matted dreadlocks in their fur. There was a little one that was just too cute to shoot, so it's living under my parents' deck , and we fed it all winter and put blankets out for it to lay on. Not sure what to do with it. It's not tame at all, but no one can bring themselves to kill it or deliver it to a shelter that would kill it.

They are definitely wildlife terrorists. I've read several times that they kill billions of small animals every year.
Killbuck Ohio is a cesspool of cats

I know people who keep records there, and they kill dozens every year in and around Killbuck. I think the average was about 60 to 80 feral cats per year per property that they were shooting. Apparently they infest every barn, outhouse, shed, abandoned trailer, etc. and just crank out babies nonstop.
