Yep. Sorry coons. Ends justify the meansT-Max, The short answer to your question is No. The entire problem is that they’re not worth anything for the effort involved in putting up the fur. Mostly they’re getting chucked into the bushes as worm food
With the number of coons in our area it is a wonder that we have any turkey.Keep it up. No mercy on these things

Sounds like a productive season. Nice work.Just pulled our 16 traps. Ended with 56 coon since Jan 10.
It's a shame that coons don't pay much anymore. My trapping cousin-buddy and I used to trap lots of them when they paid $30 to $40 for large ones. Why waste what nature provides - beautiful, thick, warm fur? Hope fur use comes back. Better than chemically-produced fake stuff, IMO. No toxic chemicals & dyes involved with nature, and trapping keeps populations to a decent level ..... less rabies too.
