Aero - ^^^^^ I've had some cages blow off young trees in high winds too. How in the H does wind catch on cages with 6" squares ?? Seems like it ought to just blow through holes that big.

I use 1/2" re-bar or 1/2" EMT conduit for stakes. Cheap.

It’s something I can’t figure out either but it happens too often. I think the deer know when they blow off also lol

Where are you guys finding cheap EMT. Everything near me is expensive.

EMT conduit was $2 ea for 10’ half inch diameter when I bought it earlier this year. It’s up to $3 now at menards I saw today.
