Planting a week after 15" of snow

My trees are coming this week, just a few days ago we had 15" of snow and most has melted. The ground is really wet just about everywhere. I really dislike backfilling the trees with wet mucky soil. Should I attempt to find some dryer soil to use for backfilling the holes when planting?

If they were already planted they would be in muck, anyway. Muck is OK. At least you are assured of no air pockets. If you want to backfill with BETTER soil, that's another topic. Go ahead and buy some bags of potting soil and use that if you like.

I guess I hate the muck more so than the trees will. I'm hoping to get a bunch of drier stuff on Wednesday just incase.
