Never heard of it. Their website doesn't say much about it deer wise. Not sure it would be preferred.
I would think beans would feed more deer. But it depends on whether your looking for cover or food. Or both.

The white lightning I know is something you drink... really doubt it would much good for hunting!

what size plot are you working with? you can mix up your own batch of seed providing a bit of each part to do what you want....... get wild with a mix, never know, clover, corn, sunflower, safflower turnips......... some will get eaten, some wont get touched........... mixed in the right amounts, all will get enough sun.
