Pear tree blooms lost to late freeze.

I have lost every single pear bloom the last 2 years to late freeze. My apple trees haven't had any issues.
I am debating on whether to plant more pears or switch to more apple trees do to this problem. I know pear trees have lees issues then apple trees but this doesn't help if they never get the opportunity to produce. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

In your zone I wouldn't give up on the pears yet, I would look into some later varieties so your bloom might be a couple weeks later.
