Nice jake for my son

Chris shot a big ol jake this morning at 10:40. 17 lbs on the bathroom scale. Surprised to see a paintbrush 6" beard on it. I'm glad he decided to take it since it was his first hunt with a new Avian HDR jake he just bought. Kids are all pumped for wild turkey nuggets. A pic showing the beard compared to the one he got 2 yrs ago.

Was raining at 4 am so we got to sleep in! He also wasn't smiling when I pulled up in the truck. More grimacing.
