NFL Football Games.....Live discussion

Bears had a chance. What got them as far as they went was believing they could do it in my opinion. Young Quarterback will only get better with time in Chicago. Next year will be interesting for sure watching all these quality coaches go somewhere else and you know they'll have a chip on their shoulder. How long before the VIkes think they need a different coach? Good luck to any coach trying to manage the players of today. jmo

I'm glad to know Green Day hates conservatives. Just another reason I will never watch the NFL or any Super Bowl ever again.

Roger Goodell has made some poor decisions, he could easily avoid these situations!

I don't think Roger Goodell, or any NFL organization, cares if you're a conservative or a liberal. So long as you can afford the over priced ticket to watch multi-millionaires play for billionaires you're good.

I disagree, the kneeling was not a good move by the NFL. Studies showed they lost 2-3 billion revenue as a result. They wised up and told the teams it won happen anymore!

The halftime performers are definitely very liberal. That’s fine, I’ll change the channel. Let’s see if next yr they choose Kid Rock, Morgan Wallen, Nicki Minaj or Carrie Underwood ?

I heard the Charlie Kirk's company Turning Point will be having an alternate Super Bowl halftime show. They haven't released the list of singers, but I'd think they would have some really solid options to pick from.

Found out another reason I won't watch the super bowl or the NFL. Just wait till your half time artist wears his lgbtq coat in rainbow.

Yeah my boycott was barely off but it's entirely back on. Nfl must be taking consulting from gov walz. They should run a canned good drive for veterans in need for halftime.

The Jets went the whole season without making an interception. Because that would be rude and not a very nice thing do to someone who's trying to catch the ball. And they know how hard that can be.

Maybe he can work for BUD.

Looks like the Vikes will have a 3rd QB that they let go because he wasn't good enough but will win a superbowl with a different team. That must be a record? 3 qb's that went somewhere else and won a superbowl. It's not 3 yet but it will be if Darnold wins the big game.

He probably made the right decision, because it is highly unlikely he would still be playing if he’s with the Vikings! The line is so much better with Seattle & the running game is excellent.

He wanted to stay and your beloved front office chose McCarthy.

It could be that the Vikings evaluated him on the 2 games at the end of the yr where he played terrible, had a Int, fumble returns for a TD and got sacked 9 times & Vikes got embarrassed in the first round.

He was playing on the road during those games with a line that had multiple injuries, so yeah they could have said, he’s really good, but our line sucks right now. Hindsight is 20/20 !

Unfortunately they weren’t able to crystal ball his performance with a Seahawks team who has the #1 defense in the league and a great offensive line, & 2 really good RBs… & the best special teams in the league .

If he’s with Minnesota, I’d think they would have made the playoffs, but also had tons of injuries all year and he’d be watching protests and listening to liberals blow whistles about right now .

Ironically San Francisco also chose not to sign Sam Darnold and they got walloped by Seattle as well .

Darnold hadn't put up a year with the numbers he did last year in MN when he left SF the year prior. Also, SF had a QB who had already taken them to a Super Bowl and they were ready to pay $$$. Nobody in league circles are questioning Darnold over Purdy, virtually everyone is questioning McCarthy over Darnold.

Agree with most of the rest of your assessment though, MN definitely a playoff team with Darnold. Where it would have went from there, who knows? MN has a pretty good defense too, though...probably responsible for 5 or 6 of their wins this year.

Two very good coaches gave up on him. Let’s give him credit for playing well and I’d say it’s likely they win the Super Bowl.

Minnesota would be a Super Bowl contender if the common sense guy like myself were drafting instead Kwesi… (joking) but basically we could have auto drafted and done better. We would have Kyle Hamilton, Cooper DeJean & Bucky Irving in my mocks . Kwesi has missed some obvious picks !

Shanahan didn't give up on him, they have Purdy.

The NFL draft is a total roll of the dice. GM's will rattle off a good draft or two and then bomb one or two, basically almost nobody hits home runs with consistency. Kwesi has done some nice things in free agency, but his drafts haven't been good. Perhaps he's due for a good one!
